SAPPI-Award 2007: Color-Offset wins again
We are victorious, but you are the winner!
It is the Oscar of the European printing industry the Sappi: The European Printer Award. It is awarded annually for printing products in nine categories.
This year, after a Gold Award in 2004, the Color Group is proud again for winning two Sappis: a Silver Award in the category Brochure Printing, and a Bronze Award in the category Calendar Printing.
The glamorous awards ceremony was held on Saturday, May 26th in Athens. In his laudation Berry Wiersum, CEO of Sappi Fine Paper Europe stated, that all men yearn for praise and recognition. Same time he regarded that the greatest praise in the professional life is the recognition of the competitors. Therefore, we hereby congratulate all other winners!
The award-winning projects were selected by an independent jury out of 1802 submissions. 838 printers from 35 countries across Europe and the Middle East had submitted their work. Sappi is the world's leading producer of coated fine paper. The jury agreed that all prize-winning works showed clearly how extraordinary results can be achieved by the right combination of paper and modern printing and processing methods.
